The Broad Cove Scottish Concert is deemed as the largest outdoor Scottish concert in Cape Breton. The concert holds great significance to the musical culture of our Scottish heritage. Entertainment includes traditional piping, fiddling, dancing and singing. ​

​The 63nd Annual Broad Cove Concert is pleased to announce that there will be a number of local performers from across the province entertaining us with two major headliners to close out the concert! This years list of performers boasts a strong familial connection to the performers of the past, weaving family, music, and culture together into one big tartan!

Walk & Run

Saturday, July 27 | 9:00 am
178 Broad Cove Chapel Road, Inverness
A day before the concert, experience the local scenery like you never have before! Run or walk along a stunning coastal road with georgous views of Margaree Island, Gulf of St. Lawerence, and more. Partake in either the 5km or 8km distance. Either way, it will be a fun-filled morning.

The music doesn't end once the concert is over! Head on out to the Southwest Margaree Hall after the 63rd Broad Cove Concert for some good ol' fashioned square dancing. Featuring Kyle MacDonald and Mac Morin

About us

The Annual Broad Cove Scottish Concert is held the last Sunday of July and is deemed the largest outdoor Scottish concert on Cape Breton Island.  Performances include a variety of fiddlers, step-dancers, gutairsts, pipers, and much more. Facilities such as canteen, washroom, and souvenir services are located on concert grounds.
