Sheena Boucher-Amirault

Picture
Born and raised in Broad Cove, Inverness County, Sheena started dancing at age 3. Having spent many years studying under The Frasers, Rodney Mac Donald, and many past instructors at The Gaelic College, she has acquired a variety of influence and style in her repertoire. She enjoys entertaining crowds with her lively steps and enthusiasm. With her background in Highland and Irish Dance, Sheena likes to draw influence from each discipline, and add a creative flair to her steps. That being said, her fundamental style of Cape Breton Step is always the foundation for her technique and teaching method. Having also played Cape Breton fiddle for most of her life, she likes to use that as a tool to teach her students to follow the tunes and create steps that fit to them.
